AIRA Bioterrorism Committee Gets New Name
Committee participants in February unanimously decided to change the name of our committee from the AIRA Bioterrorism Committee to the AIRA Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) Committee. Because registries may also be called upon to respond to naturally occurring events such as meningitis or pandemic flu, we hope that this name change better reflects our committee activities and scope. We would like to take this opportunity to encourage participation from registries throughout the AIRA network.
