HL7 Immunization User Group

• The HL7 Immunization User Group met on March 9, 2023. The next meeting is Thursday, May 11, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET.
• The HL7 Immunization User Group meeting received updated about the HL7 Immunizations Innovations Workgroup.
• The community heard about Security Concepts from Nathan Bunker at AIRA.
• The committee also had a Q&A discussion with Chris Sorenson from AIRA around Working with Certificates.

Measurement for Assessment and Certification Advisory Workgroup (MACAW)

• The Measurement for Assessment and Certification Advisory Workgroup (MACAW) met on March 9, 2023. The next Meeting is on Thursday, April 13, noon to 1 p.m. ET. 
• The workgroup discussed the in-person MACAW meeting taking place 3/21-3/23 in Tempe, AZ.
• The group continued the methodology and approach for Provider Participation.
• MACAW also continued discussions around Validation Attestations.

Standards and Interoperability Sterring Committee (SISC)

• The Standards and Interoperability Steering Committee (SISC) met on March 8, 2023. The next meeting is Wednesday, April 12, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. ET.
• Paloma Hawry gave an update on Code Sets from the CDC.
• Nathan Bunker from AIRA gave an update on SISC Small Group SOGI (Sexual Orientation Gender Identity) and updated on the committee on the HL7 User Group.
• The committee discussed Dose Units and Defaults with Eric Larson from AIRA.
• Craig Newman from Altarum, gave updates about Bulk FHIR IG.

Tableau User Group(TUG)

• Tableau User Group (TUG) met on March 18. The Next meeting is Tuesday, March 23, noon to 1 p.m. ET.
• Welcome Maine CDC & Prevention!
• This month Katie Cruz, New Mexico Dept. of Health, presented “Welcome to the Data Zone.”
