AIRA is seeking an Immunization Integration Project (IIP) Director with documented electronic health records (EHR) experience to lead the effort to operationalize and evaluate all components of the IIP. The purpose of the IIP is to increase immunization data quality and data use through collaboration, measurement, and technical support to improve IIS and EHR interoperability. Through this project, IIS programs will support the adoption of EHR products and practices that facilitate appropriate immunization functionality. This project will also provide a forum where IIS Programs can collaborate with stakeholders from the EHR and health information exchange communities to identify and determine solutions for common existing and new interoperability challenges. 

The individual in this position will direct and integrate the activities of multiple project operations, ensuring that project efforts are generally cohesive, consistent, and effective in supporting the goals of the IIP. AIRA is seeking an Epidemiologist/Data Analyst with documented IIS, public health registry, or large database-related experience to support jurisdiction-specific efforts to best utilize IIS to assess coverage levels for routinely recommended immunizations. The Washington State Department of Health is seeking an Immunization Information System Health Level 7 (IIS HL7) Exchange Coordinator/IT System Administrator (Journey) for the Enhanced Influenza Coverage Project and COVID-19 response activities. This position serves as a professional HL7 exchange coordinator and application subject matter expert supporting the Office of Immunization and Child Profile (OICP) and Washington State Immunization Information System (WAIIS). The job posting and application instructions can be found here.

PHII is seeking an informatics analyst with IIS or public health registry experience to support PHII's portfolio of IIS-related activities. This position will work with IIS and immunization programs, CDC and AIRA staff in developing and delivering a wide range of technical assistance and workforce development resources. The Michigan Immunization Program is seeking a Michigan Care Improvement Registry Epidemiologist to analyze, interpret, and disseminate data from the MCIR to identify pockets of need, immunizations levels by antigen, and conduct other analyses or produce reports as requested. The Wyoming Department of Health is seeking an IIS Interoperability Support Specialist to promote and facilitate the exchange of immunization information sent via HL7 messages. This person will implement and update Immunization Unit interoperability processes as well as ensure compliance with with CDC Functional Standards, CDC HL7 Implementation Guide and Wyoming interoperability specifications. The Wyoming Department of Health is seeking an IIS Data Quality Analysis Specialist to promote and facilitate the exchange of high quality and accurate immunization information sent via Health Level Seven (HL7) messages. This person will implement and update Immunization Unit DQA processes as well as ensure compliance with CDC Functional Standards and national DQA standards.
