Measurement for Assessment & Certification Advisory Workgroup (MACAW)

MACAW researches and formulates key IIS assessment components, develops pilot metrics, and implements IIS assessment.

MACAW is charged with systematically researching and formulating key IIS assessment components, developing pilot metrics, and implementing IIS assessment. The workgroup will also recommend measures and phases as the Validation process is finalized and adopted by the IIS community. MACAW recommends processes and measures to the AIRA Board for review and approval. For questions regarding this workgroup, please contact Kristi Siahaya.

MACAW is made up of IIS and immunization program staff, IIS vendors/implementers, and community partners. The MACAW chairs are Aaron Bieringer and Jane Lammers.

Not a MACAW member? MACAW is a limited-membership committee which offers membership through invitation only. If you are interested in nominating yourself for future openings on this committee, please email [email protected]. An AIRA staff member will contact you if you are being considered for an open MACAW member position.
