New HL7 Patient-Matching Reports Released in AART
In July 2023, AIRA, CDC, and MACAW (the Measurement for Assessment and Certification Advisory Workgroup) launched a new measurable concept, HL7 Patient Matching, into the Testing and Discovery phase of the Measurement and Improvement (M&I) initiative. Patient matching is the process of identifying and linking a patient’s data across different health systems to create a comprehensive view of that person’s health care record.
