Onboarding Process and Documentation Consultation
This page discusses the Onboarding Shared Services technical assistance available to support the review and/or development of onboarding processes and documentation.
A clearly defined onboarding process should be well documented to communicate requirements and to set and manage expectations throughout the onboarding process. Documentation should be concise, cover key content needed for onboarding, be easily accessible, and align with national recommendations. Core documents/tools used during the provider onboarding process should include:
- Readiness Checklist
- Registration Form
- Questionnaire
- Onboarding Guide
- Onboarding and Interface Project Tracking Tool
- Standard Operating Procedure
- Roles and Responsibilities (RASCI)
The volume of documentation and paperwork required for onboarding can be daunting. Through the Onboarding Shared Services (OSS) program, AIRA can help assess existing processes and documentation as well as provide guidance on developing and/or enhancing resources to support the onboarding process.
How to Request Onboarding Process and Documentation Development and Consultation
Complete the AIRA Technical Assistance Request to initiate onboarding consultation. Within the request form, please select “Provider Onboarding” as the category of request.
